In order to provide reliable high quality service to you, we keep regular business records containing information about you such as your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, social security number and other similar information. We also collect and maintain information about your account such as billing, payment and deposit history, maintenance and complaint information, records indicating the number of your television sets connected to our cable system and the service options you have chosen. - Operate and maintain our system and the services we provide and for other related, legitimate business purposes.
Disclosure of Information
We may disclose personally identifiable information about you to others either with your written consent or without your written consent if necessary to conduct a legitimate business activity related to a service provided by us to you. For example, we may disclose without your consent your name, address or other subscriber information we have collected to an affiliate or another unrelated company in order to:
- assist us in providing administrative and other services;
- prepare, print and/or deliver monthly invoices for our services or other marketing or informational materials to our customers;

We may also disclose the information we have collected about you as permitted or required by law. It is our policy to refuse requests to make any personally identifiable information about you available to government entities in the absence of a legal requirement, for example, a court order or subpoena. If we receive such a request, we will notify you before responding, if we are permitted to do so by law. Upon receipt of such notice you have the right to appear in court and contest such entity's request for the release of your information.
Security
We maintain procedural safeguards to protect your non-public personal information and to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure of your personally identifiable information.
Mailing Lists
From time to time we may disclose your name and address for mailing lists in connection with the promotion of CTI products and services and other legitimate business purposes. If you wish to remove your name from such lists or limit the use of your name and address at any time, please contact us in writing at your local CTI office. Please remember to include your name and address, your CTI account number, and a daytime telephone number where you can be reached in the event we have any questions about your request. The written request should be signed by the person who is identified in our billing records as the subscriber. If you have a joint account, a request by one party will apply to the entire account. If you have multiple accounts your notice must identify each account covered by the request.
Retention of Information
We will maintain most, if not all, of the personally identifiable information we have collected during the time you are a subscriber. We generally will destroy the information after a reasonable period of time has elapsed following the termination of your account with us, if the purpose for which such information was collected has been accomplished and we no longer need to retain the information for tax or other legitimate business reasons.
Right to Review and Correct Information
you may examine and copy (at your cost) any information we create relating to you at CTI’s office upon reasonable notice and during regular business hours. If you wish to inspect those records, please contact us by mail or telephone, giving us a reasonable period of time to locate and, if necessary, prepare the information for review, and to arrange an appointment during regular business hours.
We will correct our records if you make a reasonable showing that any of the information we have collected about you is inaccurate.
Notices and Changes to Privacy Policy
As required by federal law, we will notify you of our Privacy Policy annually. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. We will notify you of any material changes via written, electronic or other means permitted by law. If you find the change unacceptable, you have the right to cancel service. If you continue to use the service following notice, we will consider that as acceptance of the change.
